ACHIEVEMENTS
It has been possible to improve the security and the management of accessions conserved in cold chambers.
The development of SOPs has helped establish standardized processes for the distribution of plant genetic resources and security duplicates in the gene bank. This ensures the integrity, traceability and compliance with national and international regulations.
Analysis of the information on conserved accessions, in terms of viability, regeneration, and characterization, has provided an up-to-date overview of the status of accessions stored in the cold rooms of the gene bank.
